Depression Glass - Hazel Atlas
This plate is a yellow Florentine Grill plate - ya know the one where your peas don't fraternize with your potatoes. This one has beautiful color but it also has a chip at midnite on the rim of the chip - which appears someone did try to grind that down.
Hazel Atlas made Florentine from 1932 to 1935 - and it has two different shapes. Florentine 1 has a stair-step design to the corners of the plates whle Florentine 2 has a round edge like this plate.
