Vintage Black Cloisonne Box w/ flowers & etching of Mt. Fuji inside box, Japan.
Circa:
1900-1940.
Exterior:
Black Cloisonne background with floral arrangement on cover and individual flowers and leaves on 4 sides.Cloisonne is in exceptionally good condition with no sign of pitting or loss of cloisonne using a magnifying glass,

Bottom of box is a green cloisonne, with underlay etching of flowers and vines.

Exterior of box has brass trim on all edges & corners, and is hinged in back; there is also an interior control arm,

Interior:
Interior of box is brass lined; brass is in very good condition; the inside of top cover has an etched scene of Mt. Fuji,

, and the bottom of the box has an etched scene of a pagoda,

3 1/2" long , 3" wide, & 2" to top of convex shaped cover.
