    Description

    US Civil War Confederate Artillery Kepi. Label inside is marked "Wilson". Crossed cannon hat badge is tightly in place. CSA button on the right side may have been reattached at some point. The wool has quite a few moth holes in it. The stitching has seen better days and does have at least one post Civil War repair, the left side button has been replaced with what looks like a shirt button. The front rim is firmly in place but the inner headband has only about 40% remaining and it's being held on by just a couple stitches. The inner liner partially attached and looks close to complete. Overall a bit dirty. It's not perfect but these rarely are, will still make a great display piece. One of many pieces I have listed from a
    Kentucky estate.
