Description

MINIATURE SET OF SMALL DIPPERS OR LADLES
Hand Wrought by Whitesmith,
THOMAS LOOSE
Leesport, Pennsylvania
Approximate Date - 1986
Note the delicate iron work on the rattail tip of the handles and the snake head tip
as it joins the scoop portion of the dipper with two copper brads.
Also note the fine etching on the stems of each one.
The smallest has a particularly interesting decoration.

This set comes from an owner’s private collection and
