    Red wool tape uniform trim, possibly for CW period artillery shell jackets.  This lot is two NOS rolls of red wool tape as used for uniform trim, and may be for Civil War period shell jackets.  From large lot of NOS military surplus from WWI or earlier, originally part of the Noel Jacobson stock.  Each roll contains several feet of tape.
