Offered is a charming 1720 regal Halfpenny coin issued under the reign of King George II, KM#557. Retaining solid detail for the type, this example bears an almost onyx patina, which is unfortunately quite thick. Of note is that these were long circulated at home, and then exported en masse to the North American colonies, making this piece of interest to collectors on both sides of the 'Pond.'
