TWO BRASS CONTAINERS FROM MOROCCO
I bought these two lovely solid brass containers at the "souks" (local market) in Marrakech, Morocco in the early '80s because they attracted my attention when I saw them. I asked the Moroccan vendor what was it used for and he said, "usually for storing dried dates." It's beautiful to display as an "Object of Art" or a nice and elegant container for candies, hidden jewelry, or cigarettes case.
