Florentine No. 2 Poppy Depression Glass Butter Dish & Cover Yellow Hazel Atlas

Offered for sale is a HARD-TO-FIND butter dish in the "Florentine No. #2" pattern.  This pattern was manufactured by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932-1935.  The color of this beautiful butter dish is bright YELLOW!!  I have been buying and selling Depression Glass for 25+ years and this is only the 3rd COMPLETE yellow butter dish and cover that I have owned!  That shows you the scarcity of this particular piece.  This butter dish and cover are in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips, no cracks, no damage that I can see.  There is 3/4 of an inch of inner rim roughness if you run your finger around the inner rim on the inside of the butter dish bottom, which is quite normal.  Everything else on the bottom and top is SPECTACULAR!!  The bottom of the butter dish stands 1 1/8" tall and measures 6 1/2 inches across.  The butter dish lid stands about 3 inches tall and measures 4 15/16" across.  The entire butter dish stands a bit more than 3 1/2 inches tall.  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  Don't forget that this is a very difficult piece to find!!  Happy Shopping!!
